ABCs of Joy – X is for X’s and O’s, Xenophiles, and Xylophones.

Today’s joy challenge is to do something with X’s and O’s: give kisses and hugs to someone you love, dance to the song by Elle King or play Tic Tac Toe.

Other joyful X things:
♡ Xenophile. Be someone who loves people (not a xenophobe, which is someone who is afraid of people).
♡ Xylophone. Find some music that features this cool percussion instrument.

ABCs of Joy – W is for Water, Whistling, and Weekends.

Today’s joy challenge is to enjoy all that water can bring us joy. Swimming, playing, drinking, bathing, watching – water is wonderful!

Other joyful W things:
♡ Whistling a tune is a joyful way to make music.

Can you whistle? Try it!

ABCs of Joy – V is for Vanilla, Vegetables, and Vision Boards.

Today’s joy challenge is to find something that smells vanilla-y. Food, candles, incense, whatever. We’ve talked a lot about visual stimulation for joy but it can come from all the senses, like smell!

Other joyful V things:
♡ Vegetables. Stimulate your taste buds, too! Also, vegetables are colourful and nutritious. Get creative with them and nourish your body and mind at the same time.
♡ Vision Boards. This is a collage that you can make that includes words and pictures of all of the dreams and visions you have for your life. Put it somewhere you can see it every day to remind you of the amazing things you are manifesting.

ABCs of Joy – U is for Unicorns, Ukuleles, and Universe.

Today’s joy challenge is to make a list of everything in the Universe that brings you joy. It can be as long or short as you wish. But since the Universe IS joy, you might be busy for a while 😉

Other joyful U things:
♡ Unicorns. Because we often think of them as also having rainbows and sparkles.
♡ Ukulele. The music this instrument makes is nothing less than joyful. Go listen to some on Spotify or YouTube.

ABCs of Joy – T is for Time, Tea, and Tinsel.

Today’s joy challenge is to make time for joy today and every day. It’s so easy to say that we don’t have time but we are actually in charge of all of our time. We get to choose how we use our time so make sure that you are creating time in your schedule for your joy practice.

Other joyful T things:
♡ Tea. Because it’s delicious, you can drink it out of your favourite mug or tea cup, and to even the ritual of making it is joyful.
♡ Tinsel. It’s bright, colourful, sparkly, and celebratory. Don’t just save it for the holidays, enjoy it every day!
